THE FIRST HUNGARIAN WHITE TABLE ORDER OF KNIGHTS' FESTIVAL
Dear Visitor!
We are delighted to welcome you to the " Hungarians' Grand Table" festival webpage, held from June 4 to 6, 2010. The aim of the event series is to introduce the Hungarian gastronomy through a comprehensive traditional and cultural viewpoint, while staying authentic, using historical and gastronomic writings to show the culture of dining, the art of food preparation, from the time of the Settlement of Magyars in Hungary leading all the way up to today. Furthermore, to introduce the technical development through the ages, the minority groups of Hungary and their gastronomical habits as they are being rediscovered and introduced to wider circles, together with prestigious, tradition building, professionally authentic, while being a truly entertaining event.
For the first time here, in the Carpathian basin, we invite Europe to introduce our nations' world of flavours reflected in this gastronomical festival, along with the minority groups of Hungary. Gastronomy without borders encompasses the Earth, for this reason here is where Hungary's various nationalities' "cook off" will take place.
